FLENHIHBS – Providing Quality Healthcare Education with Full Accreditation
The Florence Nightingale Higher Institute of Health and Biomedical Science (FLENHIHBS) takes great pride in meeting high educational standards and maintaining all proper accreditations and authorizations. This ensures our diploma and degree programs adhere to government education regulations and equip students with qualifications recognized by healthcare employers.
By maintaining all required government clearances, licenses, visas, and partnership agreements, FLENHIHBS demonstrates a commitment to integrity and high standards in nursing and healthcare education. We are pleased to provide our students with accredited programs that meet Cameroon’s educational needs and are recognized by healthcare institutions.

Our Authorizations and Acccreditations from various state Departments
Ministry of Public Health
License from the Ministry of Public Health obtained in 2010, renewed annually (License No. 0349.D/MINSANTE/DRH of 28/4/10). This allows FLENHIHBS to provide diploma programs for nurses, midwives, lab technicians, and other allied healthcare fields.
Ministry of Higher Education
Registration by the Ministry of Higher Education obtained in 2013 to operate private higher education programs (Registration No. 13/0401/MINESUP/SG/DDES of 10/09/2013). This permitted FLENHIHBS to launch bachelor’s degree courses.
Prime Ministers Visa
Prime Minister’s Visa granted in 2015 allowing FLENHIHBS to enroll students, sit for exams, and award qualifications (Visa No. 000814 of 12/03/2015).
Accreditation form the University of Bamenda
Partnership with the University of Bamenda established in 2020 to offer bachelor’s degrees affiliated with the university. The Memorandum of Understanding and Specific Partnership Agreement facilitate credit transfers and articulation.We conduct research and engage in advocacy to impact health policies and management systems, with a focus on improving access to health services for minority groups, orphans, vulnerable children, and disabled groups.
