DRESSING CODE FOR WOMEN
Dress Code for Women at FLENHIHBS
At the Florence Nightingale Higher Institute of Health and Biomedical Science (FLENHIHBS), we have established a professional dress code for all students to uphold our reputation and prepare them for healthcare careers.
Female students are required to wear the following FLENHIHBS nursing uniform during classes, skills labs, simulations, and clinical practicums:
From School
- 2 white gowns made of cotton in the pattern prescribed by FLENHIHBS
- 2 white cotton aprons in the approved school pattern
- 2 nurse’s caps made of cotton material
- 1 plastic apron for procedures where needed
In addition, female students must wear:
- 2 pairs of solid black low-heeled shoes that are slip-resistant and completely covered with no perforations. Open-toed shoes are not permitted.
Our neat, professional uniform identifies FLENHIHBS students during their studies and in healthcare facilities. The guidelines help maintain infection control and safety standards. Students not in proper uniform may be excluded from clinical learning experiences.
We aim for students to take pride in their appearance and dress. The uniform represents our shared commitment to excellence in nursing and allied health education. Please get in touch with the school if you have any questions about dress code policies at FLENHIHBS.
